A client needed a business-critical application to be globally available—fast, always online, and resilient against outages in any region. But the existing infrastructure couldn’t keep up.
The app ran from a single location in a monolithic setup. That made it fragile: any spike or failure risked complete downtime. Users outside Europe experienced delays due to physical distance, and compliance requirements made things even more complex. Some countries require data to stay local—something the current setup couldn’t support.
We rebuilt the backend using a cloud-native architecture and deployed Kubernetes clusters across key regions. The result: infrastructure that’s built for uptime, scale, and speed.
The application now runs on Kubernetes clusters across Europe, North America, and Asia. There’s no single point of failure left.
Traffic is automatically routed to the closest and healthiest cluster, maintaining low latency and high performance, even when one region goes offline.
